KHT Instruments was founded in Shandong, China, in 2013. We focus exclusively on packaging integrity testing instruments — heat seal testers, seal inspection equipment, and related lab instruments for flexible packaging quality control. This focused specialization means our engineering team understands heat seal testing at a depth that general instrumentation manufacturers cannot match. Over 13 years, we have shipped instruments to labs in food, pharmaceutical, film manufacturing, and battery sectors across 40+ countries.

All KHT Instruments products are manufactured under ISO 9001 quality management processes. Our heat seal testers are designed and validated to comply with ASTM F88 and F2029 equipment requirements — temperature accuracy of ±1°C, or ±0.5°C on the STH-3A (against the ±1°C F2029 requirement), calibrated jaw force, and documented traceability. Every unit ships with a calibration certificate traceable to national standards. Annual recalibration services are available to maintain compliance throughout the instrument's service life.

The KHT STH series covers three instrument levels: STH-3 (manual, entry-level ASTM F88/F2029), STH-3A (touchscreen with automatic sealing pressure, a built-in printer, and ±0.5°C accuracy, designed for documented routine QC in pharmaceutical and battery labs), and STH-5 (5-point gradient used by film R&D and pharmaceutical QC labs for seal window mapping). All three models share the same core thermal and mechanical design validated for ASTM F88/F2029 compliance.

Technical documentation, calibration support, and customer service are available in English, Chinese, and Russian. Our North American customers receive instruments with dual-voltage supply and ASTM-standard documentation. Lead time from order to delivery: typically 3–6 weeks ex-factory.
